The Problem with Porn

October is Sexual Violence Awareness Month in Queensland. For the last 25 years the Gold Coast Centre Against Sexual Violence (GCCASV) has hosted October activities in the community to profile the cause and drive social change. This year, in conjunction with Gold Coast Sexology, Gold Coast Centre Against Sexual Violence Inc is hosting ‘The Problem with Porn’ Forum to discuss the impacts of sexually explicit material on young people, on society, now and in the future.

A range of professional speakers will share their views on how pornography is shaping attitudes toward women, changing sexual practices and intimacy, impacting young people, and most importantly what can be done to address this issue in our communities. This event is open to everyone, to come along and share ideas and engage in discussions on the Problem with Porn.
